The purpose of the Association is to promote the highest possible standards in wrestling and the profession of coaching wrestling; to provide a strong voice for coaches in interscholastic regulation and its affect on wrestling programs; to make wrestling as safe and entertaining as possible under the rules of competition; to promote the free exchange of information regarding coaching methods and techniques; to provide a forum for the discussion and study of all matters pertaining to wrestling and coaching; and to promote good fellowship and social contacts within the Association.
